The Call to Herbal Medicine & Nutrition

While reflecting on the story of George Washington Carver and how his prayer walks led to divine scientific revelation, I felt inspired to pray the same prayer — asking God to show me the wisdom of the human body and the plants He designed for our healing.

Just weeks later, the Holy Spirit led me to pursue advanced education in Herbal Medicine and Nutrition through the Maryland University of Integrative Health / Notre Dame of Maryland University. It became clear that this new path wasn’t random — it was the fulfillment of God’s promise when I chose obedience over expectation.

Discovering Business Consulting

Consulting was never on my radar. Yet, by helping my parents restructure their business, I discovered how naturally God had equipped me for systems, strategy, and organization. What began as an act of obedience evolved into a whole new branch of my calling — helping other entrepreneurs build efficient, faith-led businesses through structure, automation, and purpose-driven planning.

It reminded me that when God calls us higher, He doesn’t discard our skills — He repurposes them for Kingdom impact.

The Heart of B. DeShae Enterprises

My goal is to break down the walls that separate faith from everyday life. B. DeShae Enterprises exists to integrate wellness, spiritual maturity, and business excellence — proving that God is not confined to a building or a single day of the week. He is present in the way we eat, create, build, lead, and live.

Here, faith is the foundation, not the footnote.
Every consultation, product, and lesson is designed to help others see what it truly looks like to walk with God — practically, intentionally, and wholeheartedly.

Following the Plan I Thought I Wanted

Since third grade, I knew I wanted to be a doctor. My life revolved around that dream — late nights studying, countless exams, and years of pursuing a vision I thought was mine. Even when I felt God nudging me in new directions, I stayed the course, convinced that my identity and worth were tied to what I had always planned.

After years of hard work, I found myself living my eight-year-old self’s dream: a B.S. in Biology (Pre-Med) with a minor in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana, accepted into medical school on my first try.

The Surrender

Choosing surrender wasn’t easy. It meant walking away from everything familiar. But when I finally let go, my real life began.
Suddenly, I had time — time to rest, to heal, to listen. The darkness I had accepted as normal gave way to light. I rediscovered joy, confidence, and a new rhythm of peace. Choosing surrender meant walking away from everything I had built, but in that obedience, my real life began.

A Season of Redirection

Post-medical school, God began unveiling the visions He had spoken years before. Suddenly, I had time — time to rest, heal, create, and rebuild from a place of peace. The darkness I once accepted as normal gave way to light. I rediscovered joy, purpose, and a deep confidence in who God created me to be.

That season birthed B. DeShae Enterprises — a faith-based company that integrates health, wellness, creativity, and business consulting under one mission: helping people live well, work well, and walk closely with God.
